note to self don’t think about your otp curled up together in bed, legs and arms all tangled together between blankets to fight off the cold and listening to the sound of rain and each other’s breathing, faces buried in tangles of hair or against the other’s chest/neck and pressing little kisses against their cheek or their shoulder or their neck and mumbling about how lucky they are to have the other because you will get feelings and then cry

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu performed in Toronto, Canada on March 7th as part of her “NANDA COLLECTION WORLD TOUR 2014”. The Toronto show, which was the only date in Canada, took place at Sound Academy (a live concert venue with capacity of 2,000 located near Lake Ontario.) The beautiful glowing lights of Toronto City appeared on the other side of frozen Lake Ontario, and welcomed excited fans who gathered at the venue.
The 21-year-old singer has a solid and loyal fan base in Canada. For this sold-out concert, some enthusiastic fans traveled from Winnipeg City, which is 2000 km away and takes about 10 hours from Toronto City, and some had a sleeping bag with them so they were able to wait in front of the venue from 6 a.m. in the morning.
After a long chanting of her name by the audience, KPP kicked off the show with her hit tune “Invader Invader” and had the audience sing along. Between songs, the pop singer talked about her arrival in Canada and her experience of seeing Niagara Falls’ beautiful illumination for the first time, saying “This is my first time in Toronto. I went to Niagara Falls yesterday. It was so amazing!”
On March 8th, KPP’s final leg of her North American tour took place at Best Buy Theater in Times Square, New York. The massive outdoor LED display on the building wall showcased KPP’s new music video “Yume no Hajima Ring Ring” and flashed a sentence “KYARY PAMYU PAMYU SOLD OUT”
Her NY concert welcomed a fairly young crowd probably because spring breaks started on the same weekend for many students. Despite the heavy snow in NY in February, the weather was definitely getting warmer, and the end of winter was in the air.
For her NY show, KPP stood on the same stage as last year. During the show, the singer cheerfully greeted the audience, saying, “I’m back here in NY again, thank you! Today is my last show in America. Let’s have fun together!” The singer gave her fans a choreography lesson for her worldwide success “Ninja Re Bang Bang” using both English and Japanese.
The Japanese pop princess showered the audience with a few more hit singles such as “PONPONPON” “Fashion Monster” and “CANDY CANDY”.“I performed in six major cities in North America as part of my world tour!! Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York!!” the singer shouted to the 2,300 rapt fans and wrapped up her North America tour.
KPP’s sold-out North America leg welcomed over 9,000 fans. KPP and her tour crew will return to Japan and prepare for her first Australia show, which will take place on March 23rd.
